Eight stock shades are held – pink, white, orange, light green, light yellow, sky blue, navy blue and light grey – alongside custom dyeing, and the three heading options change the look of the finished window rather than its function. Each panel packs at 30 x 34 x 5 cm at 2.0 kg.
– A cool wash, 30℃ at most. High temperature is the one thing that makes linen move, and a curtain that moves loses its drop.
– Strip the heading before it goes anywhere near water. Hooks, rings and tape come off first and go back on only once the panel is bone dry.
– By hand is safest. If it goes into a machine, choose the delicates programme and let the panel fold loosely instead of being pressed into the drum.
– A neutral detergent, nothing alkaline. Brightening agents leave a dyed linen looking chalky and thin the fibre at the same time.
– Never wring it. Take the weight on both forearms and push the water out with your palms.
– Lay it flat, or hang it damp from the heading so it sets in the shape it will keep.
– No iron, no dry clean -, and pressing also flattens the finish on a printed cloth.
– Wait until it is fully dry before hanging again, or the folds will mark and the hardware can rust.
– Swap the panels round now and then, so the sun fades them evenly instead of eating one edge first.
Orders begin at 100 pieces, and custom sizes are produced as standard rather than treated as a special order. A logo can be applied to the heading or to the packaging, and label and packaging design is offered free against your own artwork. Allow about 31 days for quantities up to 1,000 pieces; larger runs are scheduled individually.
