Customisation on small cloth is usually quoted as a lump, which leaves the buyer guessing what a change actually costs. HSC prices it by the piece.
– A change of material adds $0.20 a piece. A change of pattern adds $0.20. A change of shape carries no charge at all.
– The supplements stand from 100 pieces upward, so a bar or a small label can see the effect on unit cost before committing.
– Because the figure is stated, a buyer can decide which change is worth paying for instead of taking a package deal.
– Monthly capacity of 100,000 pieces is what makes a late-placed drinks order achievable.
– Oeko-Tex 100 certification is held on file for buyers who need it on record.
The size is what lets one piece do two jobs. At 16 x 26 cm the cloth is small enough to sit under a glass and large enough to be lifted and used as a napkin during drinks service, which is why the listing carries both names for it. The material is what makes it work as a coaster in the first place: linen takes up condensation rather than letting it run to the table, and unlike a coated or synthetic mat it does not turn slick after a single evening. It is handmade and plain dyed, so there is no print to date the piece, and the hem is set before anything else happens to the cloth – which is why it still lies flat after a season of bar service instead of curling at the corner. Machine washable, with more than fifty stock colours held across the range.

Bought for bars and drinks service, for parties and gifting, and for the home, and by retailers who would rather carry one line covering two functions than two lines covering one each. A bar gets a colour scheme out of it without commissioning one, simply by mixing two or three shades across a drinks table, and white is carried as the shelf colour for venues that want a single reorder line. Because customisation is priced per piece, a venue can put a logo on the cloth and see exactly what that adds to the unit cost before the order is placed, rather than discovering it at the quotation stage.
– Wash cool, 30C or below, and wash the whole batch together so a bar’s stock fades evenly instead of piece by piece.
– A mild detergent and no powder. Powder leaves a white residue along the hem, and the hem is the first thing anyone sees on a drinks table.
– No bleach and no optical brighteners, which dull a dyed linen and weaken the hem stitching at the same time.
– No fabric softener. It coats the fibre and stops the linen taking up condensation, which is half of why the cloth is on the table at all.
– Tumble dry low or line dry. High heat shrinks the cloth and turns something that lay flat into something that curls at the corner.
– Press on the reverse while slightly damp if the cloths are going out for a formal service; for bar use, finger-press the corners and stack them flat.
– Store flat in small stacks rather than folded in half, so no crease sits under a glass all evening.
– Check the hems once a season on bar stock. On a cloth handled hundreds of times a week, the hem is what fails first.
– Keep the drinks set apart from the dinner napkins if a venue runs both, so the two sizes do not end up in one laundry bag.
For a bar, choose by how the cloth is handled rather than by how it looks. The hem is the part that fails first on a piece handled hundreds of times a week, so check that the hem is turned and stitched rather than merely overlocked, and that the cloth still lies flat after washing. On material, linen is the right answer for a drinks table because it absorbs condensation; a coated mat is easier to wipe but goes slick, and a paper coaster is a thing you throw away. On colour, buy two or three shades rather than one – a single shade of a small cloth reads as an afterthought, while two or three make a drinks table look considered, and white will always be the safest reorder. Finally, decide whether the logo is worth it at all: at this size the cloth is often barely visible under a glass.
