First-Use Preparation

Detergent & Bleach Tips

Chlorine bleach is strictly off-limits for these napkins—and fabric softener isn’t needed at all. Opt for a mild, gentle detergent instead; it cleans effectively while being kind to both the linen base fabric and the delicate embroidery threads, preserving their vivid colors and original textures.

Washing Guidelines

Wash the linen embroidered napkins with room-temperature water only. Steer clear of hot water soaking, dry cleaning, and aggressive back-and-forth scrubbing when hand-washing—these actions can fray embroidery threads and loosen the stitch work. If using a washing machine, skip the high-speed spin-dry function to prevent thread damage and napkin deformation. After washing, air-dry the napkins in a well-ventilated spot, making sure to keep them away from direct sunlight—UV rays can dull the embroidery’s vibrant hues. Low-temperature ironing is acceptable if you want a crisp look; if using a dryer, set the temperature to below 30°C.
